BEIJING, June 30 (Xinhua) -- The 20th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress on Tuesday adopted a decision to appoint Hou Kai as the new auditor general of the National Audit Office.

Previously a member of the National Supervisory Commission, Hou replaced Hu Zejun, according to the decision.
