From 16—25 June, a 6-people Chinese delegation, headed by Mr. Li Yongku, Chief Economist of the CNAO, attended the 8th Steering Committee meeting of INTOSAI PSC held in Wellington, New Zealand.
A total of 27 representatives from 17 members of PSC Steering Committee and INTOSAI General Secretariat were present at this meeting hosted by the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of New Zealand. The meeting covers the progress report and discussions on the activities of PSC and its various sub-committees and projects, including Awareness-raising project, Harmonization Project, ISSAI maintenance, the introduction on Cooperation with IFAC, Categorizing the different INTOSAI documents, INTOSAI Collaboration Tool, etc., and next meeting. The Chinese delegation joined the discussion and shared with the participants the opinions and experiences of the CNAO.
Before the meeting, the Chinese delegation also paid a visit to the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office in Melbourne, Australia. Both sides have shared the experiences on audit system, the conduct of audit, the development and implementation of auditing standards with each other.
